Tried to download files of type *.mp3 and *.mpg (*.mpeg). Mozilla downloads the
file but adds extension ".MPA"

Maybe this is somehow related to bug 141806 (linux).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.download file of type mp3, mpg mpeg

no matter if done by right click "save link target as" or left click to start
with some other program for example mp3-player, video-player

Actual Results:  file downloaded with additional extension .MPA

Expected Results:  file downloaded without change of filename

tried it with yesterdays (2nd may 02) trunk latest, showing the same effect
using downloadmanager
