User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20171128100440

Steps to reproduce:

Win10 locks up occasionally, with WR and chrome stylo. Typically happens during video playback. I usually watch Youtube on an extended display, but happens in the same window as well. Also occured I think at least once without video, just browsing.

Actual results:

Suddenly Windows freezes. Just now twice in 30 minutes, the second time as I was filing this bug after the first freeze, but I let the Youtube video play after session restore. Requires power cycling.

Expected results:

Not freezing the system. Started maybe 1 week ago?

It just happened again. Browsing in one window, Youtube on the other screen. It was especially weird because the audio played out to the end for about 2 minutes. Previous occasions were similar, but audio only played for a few seconds more, I assumed from some cache, while the machine became completely unresponsive. Power cycle required.

I've seen a similar lockdown, but for me it goes away if I create a second Window.

Does the HDD LED stay lit when your system freezes? This sounds similar to an issue I just filed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1431862.
Leak on window with WebRender was addressed by Bug 1424747. It might mitigate the problem.
Depends on: 1424747
My last crash was with the Jan 17 Nightly. That seems newer than Bug 1424747.
Laurentiu Nicola, does the crash happened on windows? Bug 1424747 addressed the problem on windows.

Ah, all right. I'm on Linux, we can use Bug 1431862 for that.

Yes, thanks!
After testing WR for few weeks again, I am not seeing this problem anymore.
