Looks like ads on reddit are going a bit crazy. This could be related to the a11y issues, though.

Jorge, can you try the following:

1. Open Menu->Options
2. Search for "access"
3. Click the checkbox next to "prevent accessibility"
4. restart firefox

Does memory usage or performance improve at all?

Just did the change to the setting, as it was unchecked. Checked now and testing, seems to be staying stable as it started to spike up as soon as I opened the Firefox explorer and started using some tabs.

Quick question, am I missing something by checking this option? or is just a work around while something else is being solved?
Flags: needinfo?(novalys)
We've been having some unusual performance problems due to some external applications on windows attaching to firefox via the accessibility APIs. Preventing this is a short term work around while we investigate.

Please try it for a day or so and let us know if it helps over a longer time period. Thanks!

I'm still seeing high CPU and RAM usage after steps above, I also attached a task manager picture with the information.
We've had other reports of ads leaking on reddit. Duping to that bug.

To work around you can try turning on tracking protection in Menu->Options.
