User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20171112125346
Steps to reproduce:
The bug can be reproduced by having (in my experience) a Twitch.tv stream or a Youtube video playing and then opening (in my case) a video game. It doesn't seem to matter what game it is. The bug only occurs when Freesync is turned on.
Actual results:
While streaming a video via Youtube or Twitch.tv and Freesync enabled on my monitor, if I open a game the video playback will go completely black after a short video freeze. However, the audio continues playing perfectly.
Disabling Freesync completely fixes the issue.
Expected results:
The stream playback should not turn black upon launching a video game while having Freesync enabled.

My apologies, I forgot to upgrade to the newest version before submitting this bug report and it seems to have fixed my issue!
I can no longer reproduce the bug on Firefox 57.0.1
