What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible.
==================================================================================
Topic filter of search result.
What problems would this solve?
===============================
The current default has lots of topic selected, and people may know the specific topic they are looking for. But when they want to filter to only one or several topics, they need to unselect all the default, which is painful. A button to clear all default selected topic would be very useful.
Who would use this?
===================
People who know what they are looking for.
What would users see?
=====================
Probably a new button or checkbox to clear all selected items.
What would users do? What would happen as a result?
===================================================
The button should clear all selected checkbox in the topic list.
Is there anything else we should know?

This is especially painful for Firefox developers who want to find document for internal stuff rather than web development. The web development related topic adds lots of noises.

I have a work around for you: If you select "All Topics" it deselects everything and then you can check what you're interested in.
It's not a solution because this is totally not clear and we should do a better job of showing this functionality is available but I hope this will help you in your use of MDN until we can improve this :)

Thanks for that workaround. I just discovered that as well immediately after I filed this bug. But yeah, there should be a clearer way to do that.
