The page at https://www.mozilla.org/about/partnerships/ dates from the Firefox OS days when we were actively courting carriers and vendors, but I don't know if we still need this page at all. It's only linked to in a handful of places on mozorg (like https://www.mozilla.org/foundation/trademarks/policy/). The form on the page sends emails to partnerships@ but I'm not sure who monitors that address, but presumably they would be the ones to tell us what we should do with the page. If it's not being actively used by anyone we should decommission it and redirect. If we do want to keep it alive, we should update the Firefox branding and probably remove Marketplace.
The associated card in our kanban board has the green light to remove the page https://www.mozilla.org/about/partnerships/ Let's proceed with that (someone will pick up the card which is now in the ready column. https://tree.taiga.io/project/malexis-mozillaorg-durable-team/us/2171?kanban-status=133543
FYI, I've asked the same folks about the https://fxpartners.mozilla.com/ page and if we can nix that, too.

Only question I think is still outstanding here, is where do we redirect the page to? Maybe simply https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contact/ ?

PR above redirect to /contact/. Eric is there any better place we can redirect people to here? A couple of other questions: 1.) https://www.mozilla.org/foundation/trademarks/policy/ "See our Mozilla Desktop Distribution page to find out more about contacting us to discuss your proposed changes." Should remove this line from the policy? 2.) https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/trademarks/community-edition-policy/ "Partnership Builds: If you’re interested in creating and distributing customized versions of our branded products to help promote your add-on, products, or service offerings, please visit our Partners Page or contact us at partners@mozilla.com or bizdev@mozilla.com to discuss your proposed modifications." Are these email addresses still active, or should we remove the paragraph? Neither of the pages are localized.

Alex - contact feels like a good spot. If folks looking for that specific page that has been removed have questions, voila. - we can remove https://fxpartners.mozilla.com/ and set up the redirect to /contact/ for that, too. Mika - please see Alex' question #1 and let us know Legal's POV (please reassign to a more appropriate resource in Legal as required) Chris - please see Alex's question #2 and let us know if that paragraphs should remain (and if so, are those still the correct email addresses)

Thank you for catching that Alex. Please remove the second paragraph.

(In reply to Eric Renaud from comment #7) - we can remove https://fxpartners.mozilla.com/ and set up the > redirect to /contact/ for that, too. Note fxpartners.mozilla.com is not part of www.mozilla.org, so will require a new bug to set up decomissioning and redirecting.

Hi, Mark Crandon confirmed there is no more use for these webpages: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/partnerships/ https://fxpartners.mozilla.com/en-US/ They can be decommissioned.

Mike, do you know if partners@mozilla.com or bizdev@mozilla.com are active, and if references to those emails should be removed from webpages? For example, see the "partnerships build" section of this page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/trademarks/community-edition-policy/ Mark is fine to remove the email references. Wanted to double check with you also.

Hi Mika, Please see the question number 1. in Comment 6, which we hoped you could help answer here.

(In reply to Alex Gibson [:agibson] from comment #12) > Hi Mika, > > Please see the question number 1. in Comment 6, which we hoped you could > help answer here. The answer is "no" - the line should not be removed from the policy because the webpage it references is still important to keep up. Ping me on slack (@mika) if I'm misunderstanding the question. Thanks!

Ping me on slack > (@mika) if I'm misunderstanding the question. Thanks! Ok, we'll keep this page around, but it is now entirely orphaned and the last remaining page under /about/partnerships/. Thanks for clearing that up!
Hi Vince, We have a very basic legacy page here that I converted over to Pebbles. It's pretty much just a pges of text and only uses standard page styles, but if you could take a look that would be appreciated. Thanks https://bedrock-demo-agibson.us-west.moz.works/en-US/about/partnerships/distribution/ You can see the current version here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/partnerships/distribution/

Reading back, Chris has already approved removal of the email references in Comment 8, but if we need a secondary approver then we can wait further.
