There is a duplicate and wrong(error 404 page) link in the sidebar navigation.
First link <input type="tel"> refers to page https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/%3Cinput_type=_tel_%3E

I am surprised, that on the page https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input the navigation is correct.

That bug whit duplicate link appears only if we are on a page like https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/somepage

First one is wrong
Okay, so I have an update!

Basically, the sidebar menus are all generated by macros which have been developed by the Mozilla administrators meaning you need certain administrative rights to change the values of the sidebar as the macro needs updating.

Once I found out about this, I emailed the administrative team at Mozilla and I got a response saying that there has previously been a bug fix for this but as the Mozilla pages are static, the macro effects all the pages and so it is a waiting game for it to be implemented properly.

I checked the macro code to ensure that the links were pointing to the right documenats and I can confirm that this fix is correct. It is just a waiting game which the Mozilla admins are aware of.

I believe that this bug can now be closed.

Hope all of that makes sense - I have attached screenshots of the email and macro code to prove it has been completed.

The final image highlights how the hard refresh forces the macro to run properly and you can see that no duplicate link exists.
MDN Web Docs' bug reporting has now moved to GitHub. From now on, please file content bugs at https://github.com/mdn/sprints/issues/ and platform bugs at https://github.com/mdn/kuma/issues/.
