I have no idea if this is actually right or whether it's still valid, but I can't find any bug nor any changelog that might say it's been fixed, so I'm assuming it is as I don't understand any of this well enough to test whether it is: wptrunner has a comment at <https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests/blob/6af7b85e188f3648b59b30aa310b4233ed15d96a/tools/wptrunner/wptrunner/browsers/server-locations.txt#L24>: # These are actually ws servers, but until mozprofile is # fixed we have to pretend that they are http servers Followed by a number of HTTP URLs that are actually host/port combinations of WebSocket servers. mozprofile should be fixed to allow WebSockets URLs as that comment by jgraham says.
