Steps to reproduce:

Since 2 weeks (one or two days after the FF update to 57.0.0) the ms store app was not longer able to download updates or install new software. After switching the default browser to Edge today everything worked fine again. Switch back to FF no more updates could be downloaded. Again switch back to Edge the error messages are gone and everthing works.

I have this issue on one computer only out of 7 different systems I've tested. So it's reproduceable on one system only for the moment.

Today I updated FF to 57.0.1 (64 Bit), same problem. What else can I provide for your investigations? I know, it's not really much. I have crash logs of the store app if needed...

I also have submitted this issue to Microsoft (the crash of the store app respectivly it's background service) before two weeks. But got no news from there.

Updates should be downloaded and installed
