Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Build ID: 20171024165158 Steps to reproduce: Receive a prompt on an ever growing number of websites asking for permission to send notifications. Go to preferences, look for option to disable this. Read help document (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox) which also lacks information on permanent disabling. Find only a way to disable notifications themselves, and for a fixed period of time. Actual results: Clicked to expand menu, clicked never. Expected results: No prompt to send me notifications.
