Details

Bug 1412915 tracks creation of loopback devices on Windows to better enable testing of components used in media capture. One of the ways this can be done is by exposing these devices in cubeb for Firefox to consume.

PR opened in cubeb repo: https://github.com/kinetiknz/cubeb/pull/387 There are still some open questions that need to be answered on the PR. Following getting the code finalized it will need to be merged to central and exposed to the testing code in some way. Tracking of this process can be done in a follow up bug as these steps no longer relate to cubeb.
