Whenever I call into a WebRTC call on appear.in and then switch the preferred audio device from my desktop speakers to my headphones, the tab will crash. I used to do that with FF56 and did not have this issue.

Can you go to about:crashes then click on the crash ID, and provide the link to the crash report?

I have a couple for you:
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/e3d27860-ec8a-48c3-8920-9d2db0171207
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/02981c4a-a637-436c-a231-254240171207
One is from a call on 6-Dec-2017 and one from 29-Nov-2017. Each one is where I attempted to change the default speakers on my machine during a WebRTC call.
