User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_1) AppleWebKit/604.3.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/11.0.1 Safari/604.3.5

Steps to reproduce:

Make sure "trackpad handwriting" is enabled:

1. Open OS "Keyboard Preferences".
2. Select "Input Sources" tab.
3. Click the "+" button at the bottom of the window.
4. Find and select "Chinese, Simplified" in the list on the left.
5. Select "Trackpad Handwriting" in the list on the right.
6. Click "Add".

Also from the "Input Sources" window, make sure "Show input menu in menu bar" is checked (to make it easier to get to the trackpad handwriting feature).

With Firefox open and active in the foreground:

1. Active trackpad handwriting. (Go to the input menu in the menu bar and select "Trackpad Handwriting").
2. Draw something with the trackpad. (Chinese character "一" is a trivial example.)
3. Press escape to try to exit the handwriting window.

Actual results:

The handwriting window remained active. It would not stop accepting input, and it would not close. It remained in the foreground, above all other windows, until Firefox was closed. The mouse pointer remained captured by the handwriting window and could not be used to focus other windows or to navigate the menu.

Expected results:

Pressing escape once should have caused the handwriting window to go dormant (stop accepting input). Pressing escape again should have closed the window.
