User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20171213100213 Steps to reproduce: On the latest Firefox Nightly 59.0a1 (2017-12-13) w/ build ID: - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 ID:20171213100213 with these extensions: - Gecko Profiler 0.17 - Ghostery 8.0.0.34 - Nightly Tester Tools 4.0 I navigate to an internal Jupyter notebook (I am trying to replicate this with a Jupyter notebook I can share, but it's slow going right now). Actual results: It takes several seconds to load the Jupyter Notebook (not great, but OK), but then the main thread / the UI locks up for 10s of seconds, freezing the browser. At this point, the Jupyter Notebook has already loaded, so I'm not sure what freezes the browser. You can see a profile I collected at https://perfht.ml/2AA4Yyy. The freezing only happens with Ghostery enabled -- otherwise, the notebook loads just fine. The notebook also loaded just fine two weeks ago, although I'm not sure whether the new Ghostery version or a Firefox Nightly update is what's responsible. Expected results: The Jupyter Notebook should load quickly and not lock-up the main thread.
