1425100 - Ghostery 8 locks-up main thread [Firefox Nightly]

When I navigate to an internal Jupyter Notebook with Ghostery installed, the notebook takes several seconds to load (OK but not great) and then the entire browser freezes for tens of seconds (not OK).

I am trying to replicate this with a Jupyter Notebook that I can share externally, but I'm linking to a Gecko Profiler profile I've collected: https://perfht.ml/2AA4Yyy.

I am currently using Firefox Nightly on Ubuntu 16.04 w/ Firefox version Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 ID:20171213100213

with the following extensions installed:
- Gecko Profiler 0.17
- Ghostery 8.0.0.34
- Nightly Tester Tools 4.0

This is probably a Ghostery bug -- if I downgrade to Ghostery 7.4.3.1, everything works as expected -- but I'm filing a report here in case this is also some latent problem with Firefox.

This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Looks like the issue is resolved?

Yes, I remember we had some content script bugs in the first release of Ghostery v8.0 that most likely caused this. Caitlin, let me know if you need anything else from me, otherwise I think we can close this out.
