Details

The Discord web client (https://discordapp.com/) is slow and unresponsive and flickers a lot when used with Firefox ESR 52. I've tested this on Linux using several 52.x. versions. This does not happen with: Firefox 56 on Linux Firefox 57 on Linux Firefox 56 on Windows Chromium on Linux This seems to be a known problem and there are other reports about this problem, for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/7egph1/discord_browser_version_flickering/ https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/7b81cv/discord_flickers/

I tested Firefox ESR 60.1.0 (64-bit) on Windows, and this problem didn't occur.
