User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171113102334 Steps to reproduce: 1) I wanted to save file with Cyrillic symbols to my local file system in a folder with name which contains Cyrillic symbols 2) I saved a file with Cyrillic symbols in the name to a path which contains no non-latin symbols Actual results: 1) Firefox reported that I do not have write permissions to the directory (it's wrong). 2) Firefox saved the file with junk symbols in place of Cyrillic ones. Expected results: I successfully did what I wanted in the other browser, so there's neither file system corruption (regarding missing write permissions), nor locale problems (file names are readable and accessible). I'm on Fedora release 27 (Twenty Seven). Here are my locale setting if they do matter: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC=uk_UA.UTF-8 LC_TIME=uk_UA.UTF-8 LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY=uk_UA.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8" LC_PAPER=uk_UA.UTF-8 LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT=uk_UA.UTF-8 LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ALL=

Thanks for reporting. Can you try to reproduce using the latest nightly? http://nightly.mozilla.org/

Hello. Thank you for answer. I checked nightly build and all works smoothly. But I also checked on my current installation and it works there as well. Build ID looks pretty the same as when I reported the bug: 20171113102334. Looks pretty weird. Sorry I disturbed you.
