Lots of time in mozilla::layers::PLayerTransactionChild::SendInitReadLocks
I have both tree style tabs and tab center redux installed. Neither is displayed in the side bar during this profile.

Disappointing that after all the tremendous improvements in resource usage from Quantum that I found my cpu spiking after the 59 upgrade. I have a 5+ year old pentium dual core. One of the cores is almost constantly at 100%. Before the upgrade it idled at basically 0. Coincidentally I have various side tab extensions installed like the original poster. I have redux, vertigo tabs and Sea Containers. I only use Sea Containers. It might be interesting to uninstall those exts., but I downgraded to 58. If it would help I would reinstall 59 and do that.

manzanitalaceration: if you're ok sharing some data, 100% CPU usage ought to be easy to diagnose if you posted a profile from https://perf-html.io/ (requires installing an addon).
