User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171130143349 Steps to reproduce: After upgrading to FF57, the search bar to the right of the address bar no longer works. Hitting enter or clicking the arrow after typing something in does nothing. Happens in safe mode.
Does it also happen in a brand new profile? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles Does the Browser Console show any pertinent error messages? https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Tools/Browser_Console

Is Qwant your default search engine? Could you please open the browser console (Tools > Web Developer > Browser Console), reproduce the problem, and then see if any errors show up in the console?
