User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
Build ID: 20170926190823
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a calendar event called "TEST" that starts on 20 December 2017 (or any other day), with a body information like "my nice booking", that repeats "custom" set to repeat every month and set to "No end date". This will generate entries on every 20th of every month.
2. Edit that event on 20 of January 2018 selecting "Edit just this occurrence". Edit the the title to "TEST2" and the body to "my not so nice booking" (or anything else" any edit and save. The edit will remove such entry from the "master" started on 20 of December.
3. Go to 20 of December and edit the entry selecting "Edit all occurrences". Do any edit and save.
4. On Lightning "Calendar" tab, click on "Find event", and search for "TEST".
5. Now search for "TEST2"
Actual results:
On step 4 (to reproduce the bug) only the main entry of 20 December is shown. The edited entries are missing.
On step 5, while searching for "TEST2", no result is shown by "Find event".
Expected results:
All entries should be shown when searching for an item with recurrence, including those edited under "Edit just this occurrence" as separated items.
On "Steps to reproduce", the step number 3 is not relevant.

Probably a duplicate of bug 310853. What is your filter setting in the unifinder?

Bug 310853 was reported 12 years ago, and it still is around! Unbelievable!
The bug I am reporting it is similar to bug 310853, but harder because, if the recurring event is edited, it is permanently lost from the "find events" search system.
I do not know where are such "filter setting in the unifinder". If you provide instructions I can look for.

The filter setting can be applied using the dropdown menu next to the search field.

It is set to "All Events".
I tried also other options in such filter, but nothing improves.
