Steps to reproduce:
on any clickable web element, click right button
Actual results:
can't open object in a new background tab
Expected results:
there should be "open in new background tab" in context menu

No, there should not be. You can use the "open in new tab" item, and you can combine clicking with holding down the Ctrl key.
The context menu does not have to have gazillions of entries for every single you could ever do. :)

Could you be more specific?
Since I find no mean to force a tab at background (override web behavior) without an extension.
