What problem would this feature solve? ====================================== This would let editors review their changes more easily, and to spot any accidental changes before publishing. Who has this problem? ===================== All contributors to MDN How do you know that the users identified above have this problem? ================================================================== I request this based on my personal experience. When editing a page, I try to read the parts I have changed carefully to avoid any mistakes. Being able to see a diff will let me not miss any changes. This is especially important if I make a lot of changes, because it becomes easy to lose track of them. How are the users identified above solving this problem now? ============================================================ I don't know for sure. Maybe they save the page, then look at the diff and fix any mistakes, then save again. Being able to see a diff before saving will remove the need for an extra save. Do you have any suggestions for solving the problem? Please explain in detail. ============================================================================== In the edit form, there should be a button to show a diff between the current version and the last published version. Wikipedia has such a feature, and I find it very useful. Is there anything else we should know? ======================================
