(Keywords: regressionwindow-wanted)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20171226083017
Steps to reproduce:
open multiple tabs. go back to the first tab. go to a site that has a detailed page (lots of graphics) - point is, to take some time to load. click on the "+" button to open a new tab. before the tab page loads, switch back to the first tab. output from the new tab is now on the first tab.
(might take a couple tries to get it, as it's intermittent, and timing related).
Actual results:
output from the new tab is now on the wrong tab.
Expected results:
output from the new tab should stay on the new tab, and the output from the 1st tab should be that of the 1st tab site.
this only started with FF57. is not present in current Chrome

To clarify, are these steps correct?
Open 3 tabs (call them A, B, and C)
On tab A, navigate to a page with lots of graphics (youtube.com?)
Quickly open a new tab with the + button (call this tab D)
Quickly navigate back to tab A
Actual results:
See the contents of tab D rendered into tab A
Expected results:
See tab A continuing to load its content
Is this correct, and are you still observing it? I can't seem to reproduce with those steps.
