hi, i've got a suggestion for your e-mail-client in Netscape. You could provide a Dummy-Mode which would be very simple to use and understandable even for computer-newbies: I've got the following features in mind: Just a text-box, where the user can enter his message - the program scans the first line and extracts the e-mail adress of the recepient automatically. normally an e-mail looks like this, hi john, ..... the program recognizes "john" and if "john" is not known to the system or not clear, the program asks for the eMail-Adress or which john the user means. if the user want's to write to more than one user he can select the recepients from a list with checkboxes (click every name he wants the email to be sent to). it doesn't matter if the user writes John, or john or even jon (a little bit of fuzzy logic in here ;-) a little more difficult would be to recognize the subject of the message ... the most difficult thing for newbies is to enter the smtp and pop adresses - maybe one could simplify that to: let the user enter his email-adress and password and try to find out the servers ... the interface would have to be very simple too. just a "Check" and a "Send"-button ... i considered to write a client on my own - but it would be just one among many ... ciao, philipp
