Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171130114045 Steps to reproduce: I'm trying to login to mega.nz account (with GBs of data if that's relevant) using Firefox 57.0.1 in safe mode on a newly installed up-to-date version of Fedora 27. Actual results: "Web Content" process starts actively consuming memory till no more is available and the system gets frozen. The "Decrypting" (in terms of mega.nz) stage of login is never finished. Expected results: The expected behaviour can be observed in Chromium. The login process works. There are no unreasonable spikes of memory consumption let alone freezes of the whole browser and/or system.
Apparently, the issue has been fixed on the mega.nz's side. The described behaviour cannot be reproduced in Firefox anymore.
