Steps to reproduce:
I got new PC with fresh OS (Win10) installation. I downloaded the Firefox from Mozilla page (57.04, 64-bit). I installed it and try to sing in for Sync.
Actual results:
Got email to confirm. But when I try to confirm the email etc all I get is: Bad configuration, Unable to determine your Firefox Account server configuration. Please try again later.
When I try to go to https://accounts.firefox.com/ i get 500 error: Oh dear, something went wrong there. We've been notified and will get working on a fix.
Firefox refresh, run in safe mode, reinstalling, restarting OS and app...did not help.
Expected results:
I should sign in Sync and everything should start syncing.

Hi Mark, thanks for the report! It sounds like there was a server outage at about the same time you were experiencing this issue:

Hopefully that means the issue is now resolved. Could you please let us know if sync login is now working correctly for you?

Hello. Thanks for response.
I just tried. I still cannot login. Sync entry site stuck in login process (saying Working...). When I refresh the site I get again Bad configuration message (see image attached). :S
I am looking forward for some solution.

We're sorry to hear you are having this problem, but thanks very much for taking the time to make this report. We aren't sure what is causing this issue, but Sync does keep some logs which may help us find the problem. Instructions for how to locate and attach the logs can be found at https://wiki.mozilla.org/CloudServices/Sync/File_a_desktop_bug - please follow those instructions and attach the sync logs to this bug.

Dear Julie,
Yes, I know this, I would already do it, but there is no log. Empty. Remember it is completely fresh installation of the OS and its apps.
Thank you for any further suggestions.
(I would attach print screen, but it seems here is no option. Do I need to do New/clone Bug first, to attach new items?).

OK, I have no idea what happened. But after several trials today, I am finally able to sing in!!! Sync is working, everything seems to sync!
Whatever you all have did or not thank you for your responses. If you need any post-analysis and/or info let me know.

I'm glad to hear it! :-)
I wonder if there some some bad configuration cached as a result of the operational issue on the 3rd, which has finally been flushed and allowed you to sign in. In any case, closing this as "resolved".
