[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: [Tracking Requested - why for this release]: There is a new regression in Firefox 59 which affects web compatibility. Firefox 57 is not affected als Firefox also doesn't seem to be affected but please see the note in the section about the regression note. Other browsers like Chrome and Safari are not affected. STR: 1. open the URL in the URL field 2. click on one of the main menu items 3. click another main menu item ACTUAL: There is a flickering of elements, some elements disappears and appers again on hover. Please see the attached video. EXPECTED: No flickering. Both patches were uplifted to Firefox 58 Beta so I would expect that Firefox 58 is also affected but I can only reproduce in Firefox 59 Nightly and not in Firefox 58 Beta.

The bug does not occur with layout.display-list.retain set to false so that's why I don't see the bug in Firefox 58 Beta.
Fixed by the patch in bug 1420737.
