Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20180103231032
Steps to reproduce:
*** I am guessing on my version because the dialog box does not fill in with information. It opens but remains blank!!
I upgraded to 10.13.2 and now an regretting it.
Actual results:
All the contacts in my Max osx address book were DELETED! Fortunately, I had just back it up. I imported everything back into Contacts. Now, When I create an email Thunderbird does not recognize any of the email addresses in the Mac OSX address book and I have to cut and paste every time.
ALSO, all pop-ups like preferences take a long time to load. The dialog box is just blank.
ALSO, unable to move a newly created email after it opens up.
Expected results:
What should happen is that Thunderbird automatically fills in the email address in the To: line in a newly created email.
Pop-ups should open immediately.

Does this also happen in safe mode?

(we did not explore this in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1198506 )

I kept trying the 'About Thunderbird' dialog box to get it to open. It eventually did and I was told to restart for updates. Guess what, all the issues went away. Yay! Thanks Thunderbird.
