Steps to reproduce:

During the weekend the aitomatic update implemented the release 52.5.2.


Actual results:

Calendar is disappered
(channelling bug 1428620 comment 1) open Thunderbird add-on manager and verify that Lightning extension is installed and enabled. If enabled you should see menu entries and toolbar buttons to open the calendar tabs.

I had to install lightning to have the calender back..
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED

Did you actually uninstall it?  If not, then there was an update problem and we shouldn't close this bug report
I have the same problem with the most recent automatic update (52.8).  I did NOT uninstall Lightning.
