User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20180103231032 Steps to reproduce: On Desktop ffx 57.0.4 64bit Windows 8.1 all latest updates as of 1/01/2018. Across mulitple Laptops. No personal ffx logins. Select clear everything in ffx history. Close browser. Run CCleaner. Always shows the Firefox-Internet Cache files not cleared. Actual results: Ffx History is not clearing Cache files category even though selected Expected results: The Cache Files should have been cleared. CCleaver should not find any Firefox-Cache files to clear after browser exit.

When you say "clear everything in ffx history", are you describing the window that appears when you press Ctrl+Shift+Delete? Baku, can you take a look at this? I see you have a lot of experience with sanitize.js.

Yes exactly. The history clear option-everything is selected. Please trust me I know how to clear all history since ffx v2. I have regularly used CCleaner for Windows Desktop for years. After clearing History within ffx then closing. CCleaner reports Firefox Internet Cache files. Hundreds of these cache files can accumulate o.ver just a few hours business browsing. CCleaner shows browser files for all Web Browsers but Ffx is my default browser.

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that you didn't know how to clear history. For us to figure out what is wrong I needed to know exactly which dialog you were referring to.

Cache should have always worked, AFAIK. Does this still reproduce? What is the size reported by the "Cookies and Site Data" section after clearing all data? Can you also try clearing cache trough the "Clear Data" button in that section?
