From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020507 BuildID: 2002050708 I tried to dowload the latest Apache server and got an invalid file once the download was finished. Switched to IE and downloaded the exact file and was able to get a valid file format. apache_2.0.36-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download the file under Mozilla. 2. 3. Actual Results: Get invalid file.
How was the file invalid, exactly?
just tried the apache site given in the URL - it serves the .msi file as application/octet-stream, and so mozilla saves it as .mis.exe, and of course when you try and open that, windows says it's invalid. therefore, this is a duplicate of bug 120327. reporter - if my assumptions are incorrect, please comment again to correct me. thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 120327 ***
