Steps to reproduce:

Set "Apple Color Emoji" as emoji font in about:config (and make sure you have the font installed beforehand). Go to https://eosrei.github.io/emojione-color-font/full-demo.html

Expected results:

Emojis should have rendered properly. This regressed around 2-3 days ago.
Lastly info about the font:

I guess it's possible the patch in bug 1430216 might resolve this; please check with a current mozilla-inbound build, or a new Nightly once it has merged to mozilla-central.
