I have not managed to reproduce the issue Windows XP x86, with Firefox ESR (52.5.3) build. I've opened 7 tabs containing Youtube and cnn.com websites, closed the browser and I have not encountered any lag, freezes or crashes. After that I have navigated to the "about:crashes" page and no crash report was displayed.

Could you please give us more information regarding the number of tabs which you have open and if possible please list some of the websites you are encountering this on. 

Please tell us what you did exactly when you have encountered the crash (closed the browser, updated it, navigated etc.).

Also, could you please retest this issue using a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/AR5o9d)?

According to the report, this was a shutdown hang. Nothing really unique or actionable here.

Marking this as Resolved - Incomplete due to the lack of response from the reporter.

Also, on the other hand, due to the fact that the issue is reproducible only on Firefox ESR 52 that it will replaced by the ESR 60 in May 8th. I think it's very unlikely that someone will fix this until then since the crash rate is also quite low. Moreover this seems to be reproducible only on Windows XP, which lowers even more the chance.

Hi, sorry can't remember, what happend exactly. But Scorro Interface doesn't store my user comment.
I think I only had a look on a website perhaps heise.de (having addblock and noscript active)
and than closing Firefox. Or I had ha look onto failure reports via thunderbird which was opening firefox
and after closing thunderbird and firefox both of them crashs ...
