:: Developer Documentation Request Request Type: Correction Gecko Version: unspecified Technical Contact: :: Details The paragraph In the live output below, you can see that the first paragraph has gone wrong, because the browser thinks that the second instance of <p> is starting a new paragraph. The second paragraph looks fine, because we have replaced the angle brackets with character references. is followed by an entirely blank un-editable box, which it is most certainly not intended to be. My professor actually uses this page to teach students about HTML and I had him verify there wasnt some minor thing i was missing but no, it appears to be a bug in the code or something. this should be like a 3 minute fix i would think so ya

Just a rebuild of the page needed. Now the example correctly shows both the output when not encoded and when encoded.

Hi there! I've checked out the page, and it looks like it is working OK. The box contains an outputted version of the sample HTML code,a s it should do. This isn't meant to be an editable example. Let me know if you still see problems with it, and I'll investigate further. I am glad you and your professor are finding the course useful. Feel free to get in touch if you see any more problems!
