I am getting a "The connection was refused when attempting to contact
www.mozilla.org". Get the same message for all urls I have attempted to
contact. Problem started after applying the latest (today) security updates
from microsoft. Mozilla build id is 2002041711.
Exactly which updates were those? I searched the XP area, but found no current
updates of relevance there. Can you provide the update ID, or the URL to where
you found it/them?
Reporter: Do you use a firewall, Proxy ?
This has nothing to do with MS updates. I have the same problem on OS/2 Warp and
Win2k. I think it is a change in the last few days in Mozilla, since I don't
recall this happening before. I get this attempting to contact
    http://www.slcentral.com/deals/

This is an old link which usually just redirects me elsewhere (and still does in
Netscape and IE).
I don't see this bug on a current CVS build, Linux.
I also applied all security updates to WinXP and do not see the bug there either.

This works for me and also the link is wfm
