Switching between Normal and Show All Tags and back to Normal causes table
element to disappear from view. Only cure is to re-open page.

Problem is seen with pages contain this extract.

This sounds like a duplicate.

Trevor Jenkins--what is your build id? Can you check with the latest builds and
see if it's still a problem? (maybe only fixed on trunk?)
Build id is 2002041711
I think this is a duplicate of bug 136848 which was fixed on the trunk after the
4/18 builds (check 4/19 builds or later).

If you test with a later build and still find a problem, please reopen this bug.

QA--please verify that the scenario in this bug is fixed on the trunk.

Verified on the 05-02 trunk.

Trevor please try a newer trunk build, and see if the problem is still happening.

I looked a the ftp server and could not see anything later than the build I have.
what url did you go to?
can you type the following in the urlbar and find the buildid: about:
(it's usually the 2nd line and will start with something like "Gecko/2002")
The build id produced from about: is

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417

and is the same as I quoted in comment #3, which I took from the window title.

The URL I download the binary from was:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.0rc1/mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.0rc1.tar.gz

which is the one listed on the release candidate download page as

x86 tar.gz format

Hope that helps to identify the particular configuration.

The FTP server stil lists that as the latest available build.
Trevor--you can grab a newer build from here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/

HOWEVER, the builds may NOT be very stable so be careful if you grab one!
Okay. But as we approach RC2 I'll wait until there's something stable and then
verify the issue.
