1433000 - Mac, high sierra 10.12.6 latest version of FF. I can no longer double click on the top title bar of the browser to minimize the browser. It doens't work at all anymore. Works fine in Chrome.

Steps to reproduce:

I updated to the latest version of High Sierra (Mac). I also updated to the most recent version of Firefox. I can no longer double click on the top task bar of the browser to minimize the browser. I am forced to click on the yellow dot in the left top corner of the browser. 


Actual results:

Nothing happens when I double click the top most bar of the browser.


Expected results:

I would expect that double clicking the top most part of the browser would minimize the browser as that setting it turned on in my mac system preferences. Chrome minimizes just fine. Firefox no longer does.

Could you run mozregression[1] and tell us when this started happening for you? If you don't have mozregression installed yet, here are the three steps to get this up and running from a Terminal window:

sudo easy_install pip
sudo pip2 install -U mozregression
mozregression

I have no idea how top run mozgression. I'm not a coder dabbler. Just a frustrated user reporting a bug. I look to you guys to figure this stuff out. Ever since I updated to the new FF on High Sierra there are multiple issues. It doesn't prompt me to save passwords and forms for sites with modal type log ins either, and i have to type them in every time. I'm about to kick FF to the curb and switch to chrome. Sorry.. but it's the truth.

We need more information from you to be able to track down this issue. This is the first report that we have received regarding double-clicking on the titlebar not working as expected. Personally, I'm unable to reproduce this issue. I've outlined the three steps to gather more information in comment 1. If you were looking for information on how to launch Terminal itself, it is as simple as clicking on Terminal.app in /Applications/Utilities. If you encounter any other road blocks to running mozregression, I'm happy to help.

If you are unable to provide this additional info we will most likely have to close this bug, as we're unable to reproduce and we haven't been getting any other reports from anyone else who might be able to provide more info.
