Do you have a logins.json.corrupt file in your profile folder?
To find your profile folder: Help => Troubleshooting Information => Profile Folder (click the button to show it).

Good evening
No, I do not have the file logins.json.corrupt in my profile folder.
I only have a logins.json file:

Unfortunately I don't have any ideas as to what would cause this on Linux, there is a known issue on Windows related to specific A/V software but that wouldn't apply here. I didn't see a surge of bug reports either so this bug isn't very actionable without a reproducible test case. If you're willing to make backups and try to recreate the scenario then that would be great. You could use a debug build with debug logging enabled to see what's going on.
Hi Matthew
The bug occurred only once when I upgraded from version 57 to version 58.
I went to the following versions without problem.
I am at version 59.0.2
Thank you.

So did you get your passwords back? This sounds like it may be related to the move to key4.db or pkcs11.txt. Is configdir in pkcs11.txt of your Firefox profile correct? See bug 1453372.

Hi Matthew
Thank you very much for those answers.
I read the bug bug 1453372; I do not understand everything.
I looked for pkcs11.txt occurrences on my PC;
there are 2 with different contents:
/home/daniel/.pki/nssdb/pkcs11.txt 30/07/2015 14:10
and
/home/daniel/.mozilla/firefox/5a0utbld.daniel01/pkcs11.txt 25/01/2018 08:08
the 2 are well before the problem.
I can give the content if it's useful.
Fortunately, I saved all my passwords in a text file.
So I was able to reintroduce them as and when I needed them.
I am now at version 60.0.1 and it has not reappeared.
I do not have enough knowledge to go back.
Should we mark as resolved?

The 2nd one is the Firefox on and was changed on the same day you filed this issue, not well before.

I was just wanting to know about the `configdir=… ` contents of the file. Can you comment with it if you don't mind?

Great.

Sure but I'm still interested in seeing the configdir=… value.
