Steps to reproduce:

Used the small icon on my phone version of Firefox (57.0.4) to send a tab to my Windows 10 PC running Nightly 59.0a1 (64-bit)


Actual results:

Last time, when I went back to my computer last time, the tab was not in Nightly and appeared as a tab in Edge when I went to do some gaming Firefox refuses to load anymore.  

This time, a notification appeared in my Windows notifications that said something like "Continue from mobile" and when I clicked on it, it opened the tab I had sent in Edge.  

Sending tabs from Firefox Nightly to my Note8, while delayed somewhat (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours) works properly and arrives in Firefox and not the Samsung browser that was built into my phones OS


Expected results:

As my default browser is Firefox Nightly, I would expect Firefox to deliver my tabs to Firefox Nightly on my PC.  I'm not sure if this issue is due to how the phone browser sends to PC or how Windows 10 intercepts this request.

I've installed Nightly on my phone now, and Nightly (Android) properly sends to Nightly (PC).  After looking back and forth, I determined that the icon was different and now found Nightly to show two icons, one which sends to Nightly on PC (labeled as "Send to other devices") and one which sends to Edge (unknown reason, but the other icon appears to be called "Continue on PC").  

I'm not sure when the icon changed in the regular Firefox app, but Nightly now shows both, and there is a rather lengthy drop down list to the left of them with other sharing options.

This "Continue on PC" option is apparently due to a recent update and suggestion by Windows 10 to "link your android/iOS phone for easier connectivity between phone and PC."  Isn't that nice.

I suppose it's not as annoying as iTunes force converting every audio file on my computer to its proprietary format all those years ago that left me with a bitter taste in my mouth for all Mac/Apple products...

As the reporter mentioned, I tried Edge on my phone and it looks like Microsoft Edge got their own "Send to device" share action.
You can avoid the share menu and send the tab directly using the Firefox Sync system using the icon that looks like a paper plane.

Ed, so you believe it wasn't Firefox UI which caused this, and thus we should close this as INVALID?

As you can see on the attached screenshot, the most used "share action" will appear in the Firefox main menu.
I believe the user got confused and thought the icon was ours.
