Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
Build ID: 20180118215408
Steps to reproduce:
I was uploading a large file to my Google drive. The upload would reset and start over every time I left the Firefox browser window by switching to a new browser tab. Brought my laptop home to try on a different network. Tried the same file, this time zipped, and uploaded into the same Google Drive folder. The progress shown in the little circle at upload seems to reset when the browser tab loses focus.
Actual results:
The upload progress shown in the little circle during upload seems to reset when the browser tab loses focus.
Expected results:
Upload progress should continue and the upload progress circle should not reset starting back at the beginning.

Hello Chriss,
I tested this on Mac OS X 10.12 with FF Nightly 60 using a 1GB file, and I can't reproduce this issue.
If you want to try to retest this issue with FF NIghtly you can use this link to download it:
Can you please tell me what was the size of your upload file? Do you have any add-ons on your profile? If yes, please retest this in Safe Mode(https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Procedures-to-diagnose-and-fix/Troubleshoot-Firefox-issues-using-Safe-Mode/ta-p/1687#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode)
Did you notice this problem only on FF 58? Thanks

The issue does not manifest itself in safe mode. However, the extensions I load are: Adblock Plus, Ublock Origin, Video Downloadhelper. When those extensions are loaded, the issue occurs.

Hello Chris, thanks for your reply,
If in safe mode this issue doesn't occur what can you do is to disable all the add-ons first and then one by one enabled them and see which one causes the bug.

Hi Chris,
if the problem still persists, please try disabling your extensions one by one to check which one is causing that, and then reopen the bug with more information.
