User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build ID: 20180126220105 Steps to reproduce: Code reviewed a large PR (34 files changed) profile link: https://perfht.ml/2DBkh7H Actual results: CPU spiked to 100% (Activity monitor revealed culprit was FirefoxCP Web Content). Text input took about 10 seconds from time of typing on keyboard to show up on screen, general lag all over. Expected results: Should have scrolled normally :(
On the profile, it seems like the Okta addon may be the cause. While I can't find it on addons.mozilla.org, I think I've found the same extension on Chrome's store. A couple of reviews there also mention it causing performance issues (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/okta-secure-web-authentic/glnpjglilkicbckjpbgcfkogebgllemb/reviews). Could you check if the issue persists after disabling it?
Yeah you can close this, I came to the same conclusion. Firefox == awesome, Okta == terrible, all result to true.
closing per requested.
