while looking at out-of-memory content/tab crashes, i've noticed that the extension id "jid1-YcMV6ngYmQRA2w@jetpack" (pinterest pin it button) is present in an unusually high amount of crashes. the extension shows up in 17.5% of [@ OOM | small] content crashes, while under 0.5% of the userbase have it installed according to telemetry.

this might be responsible somewhere in the area of 1k+ daily crash reports:

so this indicates that the extension might perform some actions that are responsible for high memory use or memory leaks. can this be something we look into or reach out to pinterest about?

hi christian, i just remembered you've reached out to us for the issue with pinterest after the quantum release... would this issue about high memory usage caused by your addon be something that you could look into or pass along to the appropriate team? thanks

the volume of this issue seems to have greatly reduced since reporting the bug, in particular again with version 4.0.77 of the extension that got released on april 2, so i think we can close this bug again.
thank you for adding improvements into the addon!
