I run the Tagalog (tl) version of Nightly. When I clicked the "What's New" link in the about dialog I ended up on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/tl/firefox/60.0a1/releasenotes/?utm_campaign=whatsnew&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_source=firefox-browser. I'm pretty sure the requested page was https://www.mozilla.org/tl/firefox/60.0a1/releasenotes/?utm_campaign=whatsnew&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_source=firefox-browser, which 301's to the above link. It looks like the locale is not getting replaced correctly in the URL.
Not only the release notes but also all pages under /tl/ don't work because Tagalog (tl) is an unknown locale for now. Redirecting to /en-US/tl/ is an expected behaviour. None of the pages are localized into Tagalog yet. https://pontoon.mozilla.org/tl/mozillaorg/
Locale: tl / Tagalog
Component: Release notes → L10N
Summary: localized nightly release notes 301 to non-existent page → Add Tagalog (tl) locale support to Bedrock once major pages are localized
IMO that's still a bug in Bedrock. If a locale is missing, it should redirect to en-US, not try to load en-US/LOCALEhttps://www.mozilla.org/tl/firefox/60.0a1/releasenotes/

Not a bug I think. To redirect non-existent pages to en-US, the locale in question has to be added to PROD_LANGUAGES.
+Peiying Sorry for the spam: just noticed the subject. Tagalog is available for localization, just really behind. We don't enable a locale on production until it reaches a good coverage https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/webdashboard/?locale=tl Right now, the focus for Tagalog is to get out of Nightly and ship in Beta and Release, and there's still work to do there. > Not a bug I think. It would be interesting to see if we have data, i.e. 404 pages related to relnotes.
For example, Wolof (wo) and Yoruba (yo) are also unknown locales on Bedrock, so those have the same issue. Not Tagalog (tl) specific.
