Steps to reproduce:

go to the YouTube website to open the video to full screen
appears for a few seconds full black screen in a video online
you have the problem that Firefox is not possible to watch videos online in fullscreen for a few seconds, performing a black screen
You have to pause the video online then continue to watch online video is not very convenient

I tested this on Windows 10 x64 with Nightly 60.0a1(2018-01-31) and I can reproduce it, when I enter in full screen there is a  black screen for a few moments.

the developers can fix this feature or bug, let's see how the opera browser or the Microsoft Edge

Thanks for the report, and thanks :Ovidiu for reproducing. To me the recording in #1 looks like we're fading out and in to cover the transition to fullscreen. We don't do that on macOS, and Bryce tells me Edge and Chrome transition instantly, so there is a difference.

We do have a preference for setting the transition time:

full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter
full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave

You could try setting those to '0 0' and see if you prefer that behaviour.

NB, the transition prefs don't seem to have any effect on macOS. Maybe we use different logic there.
