User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20180103231032 Steps to reproduce: On a Mac with macOS High Sierra, start Firefox. With Firefox being the frontmost application ("Firefox" in the menu bar), click on the Apple icon and switch to another network location. Actual results: Nothing happens. The network location is not switched. Expected results: The location should be switched to the selected one. To actually switch the location, you have to change to another App and click on the desired location.

Asking QA to narrow this down a bit. I'm not sure Networking is the right component, this could be a widget/os integration bug.

Indeed, this does not seem Firefox networking related. It would be nice if someone on QA could confirm.
Component: Networking → Widget: Cocoa

Can you please retest in current nightly? This is believed to be fixed by bug 1424709.

Hi, I can confirm that using Firefox Nightly 60.0a1 I can switch the network location on macOS. Thank you!
