There is this REAME file here: devtools/client/sourceeditor/codemirror/README explaining how to update codemirror. But it refers to some npm commands to be run from devtools/client/sourceeditor/. This README and process from gain in visibily if we move it up to: devtools/client/sourceeditor/README It would help understanding why there is package.json and a webpack file around.
