User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20180128191252 Steps to reproduce: 1.Put a bookmark/folder in a folder. 2.Select something else. 2.Undo it(Ctrl+Z). Actual results: Bookmark/folder selected in STR step 2 was selected after Undo. Expected results: Bookmark/folder(STR step1) that came-out from the folder should have been selected after Undo.

Undo doesn't act on the selection, only on the actions, it's not a "rewind" functionality.

(In reply to Marco Bonardo [::mak] from comment #1) > Undo doesn't act on the selection, only on the actions, it's not a "rewind" > functionality. 1. Selection before Ctrl+Z will not have importance after Ctrl+Z as user wanted to do Undo(started doing other work). 2. Things that comes off folder will get mixed with other bookmarks. 3. This behavior is also seen in Windows Explorer(File Browser).

Maybe I don't understand what you mean by "Bookmark/folder(STR step1) that came-out from the folder". You are adding something, likely it's selected at that point, then you select something else, and undo (that will remove the originally added thing). I don't understand what you expect to be selected then. Step 2 is an explicit operation, it should be considered valid in any case. Can you attach a screenshot of the before/after situation? Is this about selection in the Library left pane or right pane?
