Steps to reproduce:

Go to http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/22300960/golden-state-warriors-replacing-stolen-unicycle-red-panda-acrobat or any other articles. Find the "Comments" button under the article and click it.


Actual results:

The comments lightbox comes up with no comments even if there are comments.

BTW, it's been broken for at least a year.


Expected results:

There should be comments.

Both Chrome and Safari show the comments properly.

I can see the comments in Firefox 58 on OSX and windows.

Do you have extensions like an adblocker installed that could block those comments ?
Please try the Firefox safemode:

if the comments are still missing try a new, additional created test profile:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

I have tried to reproduce the steps you said and checked whether I could see the facebook comments on the page of ESPN and I have been able to see them properly without any problem.

As mentioned in the above comment, try opening it in safe mode and disabling the add-ons these might be the reason for the bug to take place. If the bug is reported by any other user the status of the bug can be changed.

Thanks for looking into this guys!

The comments would work in safe mode but not after in normal mode even if I disable all the extensions (and restart). I then tried to refresh firefox, which removed all the extensions. When I tried to add the extensions back, I noticed that addon.mozilla.org says that "android debug bridge" is not compatible with quantum. I wonder why didn't ff automatically disable the incompatible extension though. I can verify that the comments are showing properly now in normal mode now.
