Not sure about other languages, but pressing the space bar in Korean (in Gchat) does not work with Firefox. It'sbasicallytypinglikethisinKorean
Please try to reproduce the issue in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode It would also help if you could attach the contents of your about:support page, if you can indeed reproduce this in safe mode.
