Description

There is no way to create a UNIX domain socket with NSPR without calling
PR_Socket which is a private function. There is a PR_NewTCPSocket call which
creates an AF_INET socket, but we require a AF_UNIX socket to be created.

Adding summary.

Comment 2

Unix domain sockets are specific to Unix systems; the goal for NSPR is to
provide an abstraction on all platforms.

Alternatives to consider include use of NSPR pipes or directly calling native
code to create Unix domain sockets.
